Australia - Six states..and that funny little island.

I'm sure she did. Remember when my youngest had her first day home alone because her brother finally started school. She was just so lost, she went and pulled her little chair up and just sat with the chickens outside their run. She just sat there, not feeding them or anything and they all just hung with her for about ten minutes, not wandering off, just keeping next to the wire. Was so sweet, then she perked up and off she ran. Think they knew she needed the company :)

Animals are far smarter than most realize.

Speaking of broodies Do you want some more

My winter broody bantams are still broody

and to now add to that i have 3 broody aussies and 1 broody hamburg and 2 broody black sexlinks. It's fun collecting eggs in the mornings. My girls can be some what violent when brooding.

Wow I thought my lot were bad with 3 broodies out of 8 chooks. Though now its 2 broodies out of 70 adults.

I have tied both methods with my aussies to try to keep them out of the banana garden. Neither has worked. I am still not sure how such weighty ladies manage to hike it up over the fence into there but they sure are determined.

I know I'm over a week behind again.

Yeah I have no idea how they do it. But maybe you shouldn't grow such attractive bug collectors for them to scratch around in. Mine love bananas too.

Howdy folks

Hey appps sorry, no idea, that question is way out of my league.

jessbonnitcha Congraulations! What a little cutie!

This is the button for adding a video. I have never tried it but I think you need to paste a link to the URL [Youtube etc].

I sprayed some Anitone on the girls breakfast this morning and stirred it through; I am so very pleased to report that the fussy little Princesses did not detect it

Happy Saturday,

Here's my wake up.

These were a couple of crossed eggs I threw in with my pure buttercups before the rooster went. Sadly no buttercups were fertile. But I can see my Barny and EE were favourites. 100% fertility on them. This poor little D'uccle must wonder what's going on.

I really need a new phone for better photos.
Cheers
