Australia - Six states..and that funny little island.

You sure could and i do that as well. I currently have a black sex link sitting on 2 geese eggs a friend gave to a few weeks back. Looks so funny as she is so far off the ground but she is not moving lol. I also have turkeys sitting on heaps of eggs too. My 3 girls like to share the one nest. You can use whatever you have available to hatch.

but doesn't your sex link realize that the geese eggs are to big or at least notice that when they hatch that there almost as big as her. hahahh?

Hi all, I have just joined up and wonder how many Aus members there might be near me, I'm in Horsham Vic, out in the sticks lol, having trouble finding silkies that are not crossed with who knows what close by, I do love my crossed babys I already have but would like to get more into some pure lines, maybe by buying in a few eggs once my girls go broody and starting that way, any way still early days and I have lots to learn about this lovely breed :)

Just thought Id add a few pics of my smallest, I'm hoping this is a little hen as she is a fav

I love the red but I think its a Roo, thats just 2 of my 4 chicks, I also have 3 older white silkies too :)

Hey Luke, They don't seem to care about what they hatch. Gunna be funny if the sexlink hatches the geese though. These are different geese than the ones i tried to hatch in the bator for my cousins friend. They are a farm yard goose but the eggs are huge so we will see how she goes.I have had turkeys hatch muscoveys before and my little bantie cochin hatched the brahma and aussie chicks and she is doing a great job looking after her 3 babies , do think they are gunna be bigger than her soon though lol.

Thanks Satay.  I hope it will be very good.

Just put 24 Aruacana and Ar cross 'rhode island white" in it.
If it was just a smidgeon bigger it would have taken 28 largish eggs,

i had 24 all up brahma and aussies in there recently. You just have to make sure there is plently of room for when you take the dividers away for them to hatch. I have nearly come unstuck this way before. Post pics of your araucanas x's when they hatch.
