Im Australian too. The ducks weren't developed in Australia. They got the name 'Australian Spotted Ducks' because the ducks were bred with many native species including Australian ducks like pacific black ducks and teals. One breed that was developed in Australia is the Elizabeth, they are rare small meaty ducks. Australian Spotted Ducks aren't in Australia as well as Golden 300's and other breeds.
