Oh my god, that must be Sooooo scary for you. Do you have lots of trees around your house or is it clear? That is one of my fears, having the house surrounded by fire. we have a fair few trees around our house though, so that would make things worse.

Is there any way you could block up the gutters and fill them with water? That would help. How far away is the fire from you?

no way is some rocks going to stop a raging bushfire 50 f high!!!
fire is moving quickly, just been at families house trying to save it. going back there soon. by night, it will be at the edge of our propety if we dont stop it at ''Carinya''. val is all worried and roz has the baby with her. darcy and some of the other boys have gone out again....
just come back home to feed the animals and make some food for them then will be going again...
got some water and hessian bags and the others got the pumps going. now, it should be boiling hot. we are freezing cold, thats the talking point. we all need coats... strange...
motre people are on thier way. the boys got small tanks on the bikes and just saved bengogo tank by the skin of thier teeth. will give motre updates tonight...
