I completely agree! My chickens are my babies and are even friendlier than my cat! I can cuddle them anytime I'm feeling sad and they make the most beautifull cooing noise when I do. Completely cheers me up every time. Ppl have tried to tell me what I should do with her but there's NO WAY!! We've spent over $500 in vet bills in her short life (5 months) but she's worth every cent in my opinion. I just wish the work day was over so I could get home to be with her. It absolutely breaks my heart to see her unwell and I would do anything to make her better again.

Anyway, that's my rant. Thanks for your suport guys!

Chooks are pretty awesome. Every time I see one of them outside, escaped from their run, I find it so adorable.

Especially the old one, she stands there and doesn't move, eyeing the house lopsidedly.

I haven't subscribed to any threads. I always forget to check my emails, and last time I subscribed I logged on one day to find 1684 unread messages

The first one was my suburb. I was going to have it as an animation with it zooming out to a larger scale every time, but the GIF stuffed up and I couldn't get it to work

(You know, to go with that line in my signature about the extraordinary world).
The one I've got right now is from a report of one of the mining companies whose investor centres I've subscribed to. (Different email than I used for BYC - one I DO check!) I just thought it was pretty.
