Today is day 17. Tomorrow's lockdown.

Hey Guinea, don't u care bout the rest of us. Hmmmpf. lol. We haven't heard from CM for awhile. My chickens haven't done anything postable this week. Just been their dear sweet selves getting handfed treats. Nothing anyone elses chickens aren't doing.

I do care about you all. It's just that I've been talking to ray everyday for awhile now and then she just disappears. She's been gone two and a half days now. That's not Like her.

Nice to know u love us too! Believe Ray works Saturdays, maybe Sunday but definitely has exams due soonish. Probably doesn't dare start up BYC as too distracting. Is very addictive...

Missed you guys too!! I was agonising over the fact that I wouldn't get to see more pictures of Lonely.

I just booked out this computer for two whole hours when I could be doing something constructive because I knew I had so much to check up on here...

O, BYC.

I got extra work this weekend, so I was pretty much occupied all Saturday (a few more dollars for me though, so

) and this morning we spent about an hour waiting for a bus which smelled of burning rubber, so turned up in the city late. The bus driver was on very friendly terms with her accelerator pedal. After we'd vigorously flown over a railway crossing and the back door just about fell off, the girls at the back started screaming and saying "OMG! I was like, when were we going to hit the ground?!"

Summer's well and truly back. Back with bells on. The chooks have been hiding under the massive bird of paradise bush we have, settling in to their hangout for the season.

I know, I wouldn't miss Lonely's hatch for anything!! I'm applying for other casual work right now, but I don't think I'll take up weekdays so I should be fine.

Great photos of the coop! Looks like it's coming along nicely.

I can sorta see something sharp in the corner of the egg. Would that be a beak?

I have a lot of pride in my birdies
