Australians - Where are you all????

Mine tend to kick dirt into each others' faces. It's funny.

Is that what usually happens? Are hens more common or somethin'? Interesting

Last time i hatched about 6 roos!

Its some weird percentage or something idk

I reckon there should be fewer roos. Because one roo can 'get friendly' with heaps of hens

My 'kids' attack me all the time. We're beginning to suspect eyesight issues.

Good to hear! I don't think mine are angry. They just attack anything, even if it's harmless. o.0

Thats weird.
I got a spur in my leg the other night since then no attacks

It hurts, doesn't it?
My chooks tend to peck me. Going down to their run without close-toed shoes is just asking for it

you've got it easy.
Have you ever had a rooster?
They do DAMAGE. I usually have bruised and scratched up legs. But occasionally if I lose focus and one attacks, I've had huge puncture wounds that are so deep. They take weeks to heal. And a few other people (friends and family) have had their legs ripped open. I've never had anything that bad though, I'm pretty good with the roosters, I know how to react.

Then I am glad I've never owned any males.

The biggest wound I've ever had is a bit of skin torn off the back of my hand. Bled for ages, dumb chooks!
