My chicken is acting lethargic, and is a little puffed up. She has lost a lot of color in her face and her comb and gobble have shrivled up like the blood got sucked out of them, (they are not dry. I was able to message them a little and they took on a similar appearence their natural shape). The strange part is that once I put some food in their trough she got up, (she was laying in her box), and began eating like normal. I did notice a bit of drainage, (snot), on her nose and it was green.
My question is, can chickens get the flu? And do they show symptoms of it if they do get it?

I would separate her from any other birds in case it is contagious. Get her warm inside with heat and watch for any other symptoms and let us know if the nose discharge smells bad.

Btw, I am no expert-just learning from others too

Oh, and don't worry about bird flu...its prob a respiratory illness....listen to her breathing...she might also cough or sneeze.
