Hi
We would really appreciate some feedback on our gender identification learning. I have attached two photos of our Australorps for an example of how we are identifying them. The third chick is one we are confused about. We have EE`s that look more traditional EE`s but this little one has us stumped. As we are never had EE`s or Ameraucanas before we are hoping someone can identify him/her for us.
Thanks

No. 3 This one we need some help on...is is Blue Ameraucana or EE? Had some egg mix up and we are newbies to identifying breeds...3 weeks - We are thinking pullet ???It acts like a roo though! maybe on its way to queen of the coop if a pullet. It`s legs look a little blue tinged in the photos but they are actually just a shade or two lighter than the Australorps.

For the last chick, everything passes as an Ameraucana on it. It had a beard and muffs as a chick, right?

What cuties! Last one looks just like a blue ameraucana I hatched. She is an awesome blue almost lavendar color now! Unfortunately I am not an expert- barely past a beginner! I'm going with hen roo roo.

yeah, but the comb looks a bit "off"...is it just the pic or does the comb look like a cross between a single and a pea?
