Australorp OR Barred Plymouth Rock

I've never had a mean Barred Rock, they make excellent back yard birds and lay well. But every Australorp I've had was mean to all the other birds and just simply beat on them. But this is just my experience.

I’d go with the Barred Rock! The are a very sweet, friendly, definitely smart (I taught one how to do tricks), beautiful, etc. bird and who wouldn’t love them, right? Oh! And not to mention the lay good!!!!
