We need a Black Australorp gender guessing support group lol I have shared some pictures on a post of our black Australorp at 5 weeks and 6 weeks, to compare, most of our roos have big combs, but I know some are slower to bloom.

How do they look now?

Yup, they look like mine do. How old are yours now? Ours are supposed to be 6 weeks this past Monday, and they look just like yours in size - my husband said we fed them miracle grow for chickens lol

All of my eggs are Australorps. Hopefully some ladies in there. And the eggs aren’t from the same place as my roo’s so that’s a plus. No sibling love

Does anyone else have roosters that cuddle together? I have the 3 Australorps, 2 barred rocks, and a cuckoo marans cockerel in there and they all seem to nap/lay down together rather than with the pullets. Maybe trying not to make waves by going near the ladies?

(And no, they all aren’t staying in there- I’m only keeping one)
