I would like to hear you people's experiences with austalorp roosters

Mack was only half Australorp but he was one of my favorites. His father was a GL Wyandotte. He held the #2 position in my rooster flock but he was never aggressive. Easy to handle and easy to love. He died a few years ago at 5 years old.

I ordered 1 Black Astralorp and 1 Black Jersey Giant (and others) this year. However, I'm not sure if I got 2 different birds as they both look exactly alike to me. So I am wondering if I got 2 Jersey Giants or 2 Black Astralorps. Anyway, at 8 weeks old, they are really nice chickens, not flightly, and mild mannered. The Black Astralorp was on my "must have" list as a number of people around here told me they were among their favorite breeds.
