I have three 17 week old Australorps, an one has developed a much more pronounced comb and wattle than the other two. It doesn't have any other features of a rooster (saddle feathers of crowing). Is it an early developing female or do I have a rooster?

Yup, just a pullet close to laying age. No males here.

X3 on pullet. BAs are excellent layers of large, brown eggs. You should get lots of them from that girl.)

Agree pullet, and close to laying. Your other girls will all look like her here soon.
