It is too early to worry about feathers. Those will molt out and you will(usually) lose the white tipped feathers too.I've got a question for those who are familiar with wing feathers. This is my first batch of home-grown babies, and I fear I've got one with some kind of twisted wing feather. It looks split, but I think that's because of MrB's glove under his wing. I've looked - no split wing.
But this FEATHER. The one in the red circle! It's, like, SIDEWAYS compared to the others. I've tried tucking it back in place, realigning with the rest of the feathers, but no luck. It always juts right back out, like a cowlick.
Will this molt out and grow back straight, or will he have a perpendicular feather forever?

Can BA chicks be wing sexed?
