Yes I got three banties soon will be four.
There are only two chickens left of the 8 first batch/ violets batch

We did let Violet have chicks with our roo a silver spangled Hamburg. One was a boy and one was a girl. We had to give the boy away so he wouldn't fight with his dad and the girl got her dads personality and we took her away for a while and when she came back she was terrified of everything and our cars and dogs were chasing her so we had to give her away too

My Aussies are sooooo close to laying. I can almost taste that first egg! Based upon my Barred Rock cockerels behavior towards my Aussie girls, I suspect I may wind up with a BR/Aussie mix of chicks at some point.

I'm so excited for you! Our pullets started laying just as the days started to get longer, and we get 6-7 eggs per day from eight mamas.
