Thank you, we just have to many roosters for our flock and there's starting to be fights between the 3. It's nothing horrible from the stories I have heard but I just don't know which ones to cull and which to keep.

Side note: I am wanting to breed down the road. Any recommendations for standard that I can look up?

Do you have an American Standard of Perfection book? If not, it would be well worth the investment if you want to breed for quality down the line.

I definitely agree. That book is worth it's weight in gold when you start talking serious breeding.

Nine hatched four and got up. Two are in the hatcher. Thus far she's proving to be an excellent mother.

Dammmmmmn! What kind of snake? There's gotta' be a way to kill off those snakes.....my dogs kill everyone they see.

My digs would've if they had been outside, but, we left then in the house today. Way to go. Six foot rat snake. I tried to post pictures, phone wouldnt let me.

If I ever see a 6 foot snake in my chicken coop, I'll probably never go there again =). Just nail it up and start over. LOL

i pulled a 4metre scrub python out of mine a couple of months ago. RIP sparkles and ace. Giant thing weighed 18kgs.
