Australorps breed Thread

Hey everyone,

I'm looking to add a bunch of australorps to my flock of 6 month old dominiques (with a dom rooster), and I want to know if these two breeds would function well together in one flock. I would assume so since they are both fairly docile (of course I cant speak for the lorps since I've never owned any). What do you all think?
My Australorps seem to get along with every breed they have been in with.

They are very chill.

They are very chill.
Being new to this breed (my first girls are now 17 weeks old), I'd say that chill is the perfect way to describe them. They seem to be pretty much happy and content with whatever. They like being free range and they like being in their coop. They like fresh veggies, and they like their crumbles. Nothing much seems to phase them, they just seem to be pretty content. I'm really liking them a lot. :)

Interestingly enough, my bigger BA was mid to low in the flock (even though she was the biggest girl by far) until she brooded the 7 chicks this summer. Became the hen from hell if any other bird got near "her" chicks though over time she allowed a recently broken broody Faverolles to "help" when they were all out and figured out the other BA is just a big doofus with her beak to the ground and not a threat when she wandered too close. When the chicks were about 2 months old the BA kicked them to the curb and forgot she had been their protector. Prior to her brooding the chicks the Anconas were clearly top but she scared them half to death when she was protecting the chicks and she is now more aggressive. She'll chase the chicks off treats (where she used to call them!) and the Anconas don't bother her at all.

I have 2 BAs: 1 is flock leader/head girl and will clip anyone who crosses her. But otherwise very calm, quiet, friendly to me. Occasionally one of my EEs will make it over the fence to the bigger yard, and when they get returned "Dottie" will give them a good nip. The other BA is Tiny (now just as big as Dottie, and my two biggest girls) and the lowest ranking of all. She sleeps with the EEs. They are all nice to me but the BAs aren't warm-fuzzy; chill is a great word for them. AND they lay almost every day, probably 28/30 days.
