I have the batch I showed the pictures of and another 30 hatching today. I am going to have a nice BA flock!

I do not have an Australorp Rooster. I thought that i had one last year. It was just a big-footed, very confident pullet. Maybe I will find one this year.

Brand new, pure BBS Australorps, fresh out of the incubator and into the brooder.There are no other unauthorized chicks only Aussies so I don't get in trouble.

Aussie chicks are so stinkin cute, all fashioned with their little chickie diapers on. Love those fuzzy white butts.

These happen to be my surprise new breed we decided to go with!! I went thru and found these. I've read and heard only the best thing about these. Only downfall s the broodiness, which is definitely manageable.
I can't wait to meet them in a month!
