I agree. I have some 4 week old Mottled AMS that have destroyed my garage with their dust and they are the flightiest breed that I have ever seen. Big scaredy cats!

Well I got more black australorps yesterday, for a total of 6 BA. However, I can't tell the difference between the BA and the black copper maran. Anyone here know the visual difference? They were hatched Wednesday. Once I know definite, I will put a leg band on her.

The Marans will lay a darker egg

It should also have a bit of feathering down the leg though I don't know if the chicks have it.
