Australorps breed Thread

I forgot to add the a picture. The one in the very center of this picture (standing in front of the buff EE) is one of the chicks. He/she is not a fighter, gets along well with all of the others despite not having been raised with them. Thanks.

I have a black Australorp rooster who is extremely aggressive. He was hand raised and very calm use to being around small children but about a month ago he has turned very aggressive to the point where I can't go in with him anymore to collect eggs or even walk by his pen without him attacking the side where I am walking. Anyone else have this problem ?

Mine become soup before they become that kind of problem. They get one attack and then they reform or get in line for soup....

How old ? Sometimes Roosters get confused if they are hand raised...
They think you are part of the flock ...has he tried to dance with you before ?

Can a buff orpington and a black australorp create a splash chick? My friend gave me two chicks that are white with a few black spots and short blue legs. Thanks

That's not a splash, splash are more pale grey with flecks of dark grey colour like the one in the front of this photo
