Australorp's Earlobes

Hey Everybody,​

(I am not sure if this is in the right forum, please correct me if it isn't).
So here's the thing: I have a Black Australorp hen, Happy Feet, of whom earlobes are white.

I am not even close to an expert when it comes to the genetics of earlobe coloring on poultry... But I feel I should know better. (Please help me along the way).
I plan on using this as an educational thread once my question is answered and so it can help other folks wondering about earlobe genetics. (Does that make any sense?)

Is it normal for a BA to have white earlobes? I had three other BA's with red earlobes [that I remember]. Could it be because of something to do with hatchery quality?

This is not urgent and sorry if this whole thing makes me seem like a dummy...

As a side note, this may sound odd, but the other three BA's I owned had red earlobes and were overall nasty birds in general. This hen, Happy Feet, has white earlobes, went broody and hatched my first EVER broody hatch, and is the sweetest thing. Does that sounds weird? Get what I mean?

Also, my neighbor has a BA (I know for sure she's a BA) that visits daily. When I go to feed her millet, I see she has red earlobes. I am honestly confused!

I think it may just be genetics! If she isn't displaying signs of illness saying that this could be bad, I would just assume that you got a pretty snazzy looking bird! Best wishes!

I'm interested to know what color eggs she lays. I had read in the past that red earlobes = brown eggs & white earlobes = white eggs.

Maybe it's more pale than an Australorp with red earlobes? I don't know? LOL!
