Auto humidity using controller and humidifier

I have bought an Auto humidity controller (wh 8040) and a humidifier (tao tronic TT-ah009) I hooked it up, it works.. BUT with this issue.. when it raises the humidity to where I have it programmed to be, and it shuts off.. when the humidity falls, and it tries to turn the humidifier on, it won't turn on. I have to manually push the button to turn it on.
It raises the humidity to set point, shuts off, but humidifier won't come on next time. Can someone help? Is it a day feature on this middle humidifier? Can I bypass it? Thanks in advance

I think I need to bypass the on if switch on the humidifier. Not exactly sure how to do that. Any help out there?

It's a cheap incubator that has never held temp. I rigged it with a thermostat controller and light bulbs to control heat, now am trying to rig humidity controller with humidifier to control humidity.
