Auto turner question

My first set of 4 BR eggs are in a still air LG bator and are doing well. I have been hand turning them and they are on their sides. They are at 3 weeks and still seem to be doing fine (hard to tell now since they aren't "swimming" around like they used to). My next set of BR eggs, I just moved from the LG to my new Hovabator with an auto turner. I moved them in there since the others will have to go on lock down. They are at about Day 9 right now and since being in the auto turner, I've noticed that the wider part of the egg looks almost like it has a bubble-ish thing or air. Since they were on their sides and now they are small point down, but going side-to-side, did I screw them up??? Out of the 5 I moved, there was one questionable one and sure enough, today had a blood ring, but the other 4 seemed fine other than this air thingy on the wide part. Sorry I'm rambling, but I can't think of a good way to describe it.
Anyone successfully hatch BR turkey eggs (or other heritage breeds) in a Hovabator or LG with a turner?

You "air thingie" is the air sack. It is supposed to be there.

I have a 1588 with auto turner and personally think it's the best thing I've ever purchased. My hatch rate is much higher since I'm not hand turning.

The main purpose of turning the egg is so the growing chick does not get stuck to the shell. It doesn't necessarily matter which direction it's being turned in as long as it gets turned.

No but it has the actual air sack on the pointy end. This "bubble" is on the wider end. Maybe I'll try to take a picture although I've already taken them out of the turner and laid them back on their sides.
Thanks.

are you sure it's an air sac in teh pointed end. At day 9 your development should look something like this.

Air sack at large end, baby in the middle, egg yolk/fluid at the pointed end
