auto turning vs. manual turning??

thx, im on the 14th day with manual turning and theres 9 out of 10 eggs left..
everyone said they get a more usccessful hatch rate with the turner so when i test
out the egg turner, it'll have to top 9 out of 10 eggs (for now) right??
thanks :p

My first hatch, homemade incubator. I hand turned, sorta. The eggs were in cartons with PVC pipe tied to the cartons. So I could rotate them without having to open the incubator. I only turned 2x a day on weekdays, and 4-5 times on weekends. 9 out of 10 hatched. I think that I prefer a broody.

Waterfowl eggs- hand turn. All other poultry- auto turn. I actually sometimes enjoy hand turning though.

I just am finishing up a batch that I hand turned started with 51 eggs all shipped both boxes damaged locked down 41 so far have 34 chicks I think pretty good and a few days only had 2x a day turning. I have a new incubator with a turner so we'll see what happens with that

Always have had a better hatchrate hand turning duck eggs- Only hatched one lot of chicks... Started hand turning but finished them off in the auto turner and only hatched 3 out of 12.
