i've been looking at automatic chicken doors however my girls use an A Frame Tractor (which doesn't get moved about) to sleep in at night.
Has anyone installed an automatic door on one of these? It would have to be installed on an angle (the side of the coop) rather than the vertical door so i can still access it to clean it out.
I'm considering using the VSB door opening system from Wells poultry in the UK as it seems the most convenient as far as being weather proof and operates by battery. Going to cost an arm and a leg though so i want to make sure it will work on the design of my coop before I outlay the cash.
