I've got two hova bator incubators. I was going out of town and leaving my husband to do the egg turning. [IMG] I wasn't sure if this was really a good idea since I would be away for two weeks! I went ahead and bought automatic egg turners. Then all he had to do was monitor the temperature and humidity. I returned after 2 weeks and so far so good. Now my question - when it's lockdown time - I turn off the turners and leave them in? or am I supposed to remove the eggs from the turners and lay them on the floor of the bator as before? Any help would be appreciated.

I'm pretty much a newbie (just finished my 3rd hatch), but everything I've read - and what I've done all 3 times - is to remove the eggs from the turner and lay them on the floor of the bator on day 18.
