Avatar: Sequel?

James Cameron has said there are two sequels planned.

Avatar was the BEST MOVIE I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE!

I actually saw it twice. My sister saw it 3 times.

Even though it's so awesome in 3-d, I liked how it wasn't one of those movies how everything would pop out at you. I think this movie would be exceptional both ways- 3-d and non- 3-d!

I saw it in Imax. I ducked twice....and felt like quite the idiot afterwords!

I really liked it. I would go to see a sequal to it. James Cameron makes really entertaining films. The 3-D is so cool, and I wouldn't want to see it any other way.

I so wanted not to like it, but I really enjoyed it. Predictable plot, but it was incredibly beautiful! As I was walking out I remember thinking, " I wish I was back in the movie already".

The end is completely set up for sequel-ization. And I would opt for 3D if you have the chance. You can see it "regular" when it comes out on disk.

Yep you guys are totally right, unfortunately (or not) they WILL make a sequel, assuming that the economy doesn't get to them too.......Haven't seen it in IMAX or 3-D, but it was amazing even the regular way.......

I didn't like it personally. It looked good, but I don'tlike war plot lines. The 3-d was nice. I thought it would have been better if it wasn't so freaking long. I can't think of a sequel that would be worth it. YOu could go with the traditional they have a kid who grows up to be the next chief blah blah blah, but that's not unique.
