Avian Flu. Panicing.

They are kept in a coop in my barn and they have an outdoor run. But they get out of their run all the time.
I survived the apocalypse north of you. I mean not much you can do, but keep yourself clean when you come and go to and from town, including your tires (as they say), keep other people from coming over and petting them... general bio security.

Otherwise don't let birds build nests in your barn, avoid feeding wild birds. I believe some wild birds do have immunity, others are carriers. If you free range try to limit their access to areas frequented by wild birds, particularlly wood ducks and wild geese.
