Was this discussed and I missed it? Looks like one backyard flock in Kansas was classified as Poultry. Maybe they were meatbirds?

Maybe pullets being raised for a layer house? News articles don't give specifics on any of these reports.

I apologize, haven't been here in a while and not sure I understand this post AgnesGray.
A backyard flock would be " poultry" or what am I missing here?
Where is that info . from, what exactly is it about ?
Also, and prob. is here somewhere on this site already , but someone just sent me a link about 5 ml. birds in Iowa to be disposed of due to the flu.
