I stayed outside until dark watching my hens try and get used to a roo among them.... then I just got tired and came in.

I've noticed I just don't want to exercise as much since it was cold outside. That will be changing this week.

Hmmm, Well, I guess I need to take down the Christmas trees.

I have family coming in tomorrow from KY, so yeah, NEED to get that done before they get here. They already think I am crazy. Hopefully putting in the drop ceiling in the new coop, to help contain heat. Hmmmmm...going to make Lasagna for our supper ( thanks for mentioning that sounds good) and...dust. Im pretty sure I saw dust bunny babies yesterday....of course, it could be the effects of the aforementioned meds. ( Thats why I dont usually take OTC meds.) WOWSA!!

Our tree is still up too. Only because it is the only thing in the living and we are reluctant to take it down - it cuts down on the echo....

It's warming up, but still too cold to be outside for too long. So I've added a few things to my list:

Do water changes on my fish tanks.

Clean out the worm compost bin in the basement.

Create/bake treats for the chickens.

The only thing we had to do was clean the coop and the boys did that this morning. It is around 70 degrees here so no need to worry about water freezing.

Well today it was:
Log onto BYC
clean basement coop
Feed/water chickens
fill outside bird feeders
clean & change filters on Frog, turtles, and fish tanks
clean out cockroach tank
3 loads of laundry
put away my laundry
2 loads of dishes
look up fun recipes
look for more self sufficient ideas
coffee
cookies..as in I ate some
then it will be off to make meatloaf, mashed potatoes, & corn
glass of wine
pass out from exhaustion while trying to watch TV
