I just threw out my old gutter pieces. That's how it always goes...things sit around and once you do u find a use for them.

Gutter material can be very sharp once cut. Trust me, i know why.

What did you do to smooth out the edges of the cut material?

Okay tell us how you did it....looks great. Someone did one with a baby chick feeder and pipe plus stuff. We copied that and did one with just a big long pipe and the baby feeder. Saved us feeding everyday we feed every other day. I love these kinds of ideas. I need one that does not cost a fortune with watering. I have the five gallon things but we have a few chickens more than most average owners.

Ok 2'' inch holes. I used a file that my dad uses all the time. I felt it and it is not sharp. They love everything new that i make for them.
