Scovies like to lay, at least my girls do, 20+ eggs then sit. DH counted and said 18 ducklings so a bit short of a jillion.

What a pretty mama and babies! Lovely and perfect for Mother's Day!

She has a beautiful tail. I love how that little yellow one is holding her tail and checking to see that its just like mama's.

There are about 3 of those little yellow cuties w/tails that are dark. This is our first time w/Scovies so I'm really interested in seeing them feather out.

Love your Scovies!! We've had 5 of our hens hatch out babies this year, just adorable!!!! The ones with the dark tails and grey beaks should turn out to be blues. Congrats on your babies.

WOW! I was so stressed out over my ducklings in the brooder. I only did 2 at one time, then one. I can't imagine 18!!! LOL
