If you are looking for diversity in your bloodline - then look no further. I am the original importer of the Ayam Cemani from Orpingtons Galore in the UK. I brought these over in 2012 and have sold chicks locally. In conjunction with the import I aquired stock from Toni-Marie to increase diversity with my stock.
These are the actual birds you are buying and they are almost 7 months old.
Like most newly imported birds, these birds are not show quality and are not 100% perfect in every Cemani trait. They do have dark skin, dark feet, black feathers (a few light feathers do exist), black comb, and are very flightly birds. The hen is laying currently laying about 1 egg per day.
This pair will give someone the opportunity to be months ahead of the juvenile pairs that are currently being sold. I do have one other pair that I am pondering on selling - but this maybe the only pair that I sell.
The roosters weight between 4.5lbs and 5lbs and the hens are between 3.5lbs and 4 lbs. The hens lay about 80 to 100 small white eggs per year.
