Good afternoon! :frow This question is just out of curiosity (although I am trying to sell the rooster) how much would this pair of Ayam Cemani's sell for? And how much would they sell for individually?

The hen, Blackberry:

Well, that depends on the source and purpose. If they are good quality and were bred for an exhibition they could fetch one heck of a price.
If they are just eye candy, I wouldn't expect them to go for much.
Breeder stock, medium price.

Here is my guestimate:
Exhibition breeding price: $100-$150 for the pair $200 for the hen
Breeder stock, non SQ: $80-$100 for the pair
Eggs: $80 for the hen.... rooster would probably be useless in this scenario.

Probably not helpful but we just ate one cemani rooster and I gave a pair away to a friend to breed, I kept one male and two female, the thinking being we swap chicks so we each have stronger blood lines.

I believe I have awesome specimens, they live totally free, sleep wild in trees and lay eggs virtually daily. They can be chased in coop as well with hose pipe!

We are about to start setting their eggs under our silkies and expect we will have a whole bunch of cemanis soon.

I am also curious what the market is for hatching eggs, chicks and breeding pairs/trios.

We are based in Spain.

Awesome chicken.

This pair is from 2 different parents. The white cockerel is from my original imported pair. The black pullet is from a local breeder. They are both 10 month old and has been proven, since already hatch a clutch in August with 3 black, 3 white, 2 splash, and 2 blue. Fancy offspring of first generations.

They are non-related.

What are they?

Why would anyone want a white one without black skin? Kinda defeats the whole idea of what they are supposed to be doesn't it?
Never heard of a white AC before.

Will the white genes are reccessive in the genes, you need many generations to get a white ayam cemani. He is a full ayam cemani, but with a mulberry face. I will tried to get a picture of his underwing to be proven. Many people has offering me for this pair already, but I could only sell the eggs or the chicks in either way.
