Ok so how much are they worth now then

Well, chicks can be bought for $50 each. Shipped hatching eggs, even with a dismal hatching rate, might bring the price down to $30 per chick. Hatch your own eggs and it's $5-$10 per chick. Spend $20 each for feed to grow them out and you have $30 -$80 each invested at point of lay. Paying yourself $50/hour for your expertise and hard work makes them worth $250 to $300 each. They are laying now and I'll take $150 each if anyone wants to come pick them up.
