I am sorry that you lost the last batch. I wish I had the cash to play that high. It is like waving a red flag in front of me to find another way around this. There are currently two batches of Ayam Cemani's on ebay UK. I have email each of those sellers to see if they will ship to the USA.

Please be careful shipping into the states. They are very particular and you can get into big trouble.
I realize it is very tempting and it's possible it would work but look out.

Well, I am not doing very well with the THREE Ayam Cemani sellers currently on ebay uk. I emailed them on ebay but have not had a response. There is one final seller that I contacted this spring, but they have not responded and may be on vacation. All of Europe takes July-August off.

You know that it just might be worth it to buy a ticket. fly over, pick them up and come back quickly with the eggs. I wouldn't mind holding eggs on my lap the way home to insure a good outcome. The seller would need to be ready to do the lion's share of the work.

Well, today in the mail I got 14 BROWN eggs that are very obviously not Ayam Cemani and I also didn't get the pheasant eggs as a bonus I was promised. I haven't heard from the seller and paypal has said I will get my money back. We will see! I'm so upset someone would be so fraudulent to do this.

I have Cemani and they lay brown eggs. Maybe it was not a ripoff.

I know of a source that has brown colored eggs from fibro melanistic chickens here in the US. He terms his Hmong Chickens. They are indeed black all the way through to the bones and I had asked Toni Marie about this and she said that Ayam Cemani should lay a white egg. There are a range of these "Black Chickens" from what I have read but the ones that are considered to be 'true' Ayam Cemani should lay a white egg, at least here in the West but I am not sure if there are other 'Ayam Cemani' that lay a brown egg and considered 'true' where the bird originated.
