I know of a source that has brown colored eggs from fibro melanistic chickens here in the US. He terms his Hmong Chickens. They are indeed black all the way through to the bones and I had asked Toni Marie about this and she said that Ayam Cemani should lay a white egg. There are a range of these "Black Chickens" from what I have read but the ones that are considered to be 'true' Ayam Cemani should lay a white egg, at least here in the West but I am not sure if there are other 'Ayam Cemani' that lay a brown egg and considered 'true' where the bird originated.
