Superstition Mountain, just on the East side of Phoenix. I shoot this mountain a lot, because no matter when you look at it, you see something different.

Finished this the day the Perseverance rover touched down on mars, and the name seemed fitting. In a private collection now, it sold as soon as I shared it on socials.

I can't explain why, but I love Fred. Imagine it's an extra-dimensional critter peering through a crack in space-time, so all you see is his eye. This is one of very few pieces I've kept for myself.
