First egg from my 19 week old Azure Blue.

In New Brunswick, Canada. I believe the chicks are from Frey’s hatchery in Ontario, Canada. A local operation raises them to pullets for resale.
They also raise Red Sex links and 1 of mine just gave me her gift. Two new eggs the same day!

Certainly I should mention the red sex links. Their eggs are beautiful too. I must say the sex links are a more friendly, calmer bird the Azures are more like a cartoon character! Both types have turned out to be very good free range foragers considering they were 16 weeks old, raised in a production barn and never saw a green field before the day I got them.

My 2 red stars or sex links are way calmer birds than the Azures. Very pleasant to be around. I’ve been spending quality time with the girls and the Azures are mellowing out a bit now...........except for crazy lady boss girl. She’s a ditz lol!
