New guy will have all autumn and winter to grow out so it will be interesting to see how he goes. I want to do my main breeding in spring so I just bought a roo I'll need to feed and house for nearly 1/2 a year till I use him. No wonder DH isn't impressed, I was supposed to be culling roo's for winter, not buying more!

Thanks, everybody!! I feel like a proud chicken mama!

I have to get some pics of Rex & Butch together. Butch is even bigger & blockier with the same coloring & a slightly better comb. Betting he's gonna beat dear old Dad in show.

Is it still freezing up there, Tori? You know I won't forget you!
