Hello everyone, new poster to this thread.

I have one SG Dorking hen myself. She is by far the most vocal of my flock, but one of the most friendly.

She battled a nasty eye infection for months which caused her to go blind in that eye


This is her good, normal eye.


As compared to her bad eye



She came good and hatched some little chicks of her own 8 weeks ago.

They are so unique and quirky, I just love them. My girl is the lowest in the pecking order unfortunately. I hope she will buddy up with one of the fav pullets she hatched a couple of months ago since Favs are supposed to be mild mannered
