B.Y.C. Dorking Club!

Pics
1st hatch of the season complete - of 18 TOL eggs, 8 chicks, 5 reds, 2 Tawnies and 1 Dark Grey. Of the 5 Reds, pretty sure 3 are girls :) Will post pics later today, for the Dorking Council to weigh in on that...

Of the 30 red/colored I purchased, only one hatched :-( Pretty sure he's a roo, and colored, so we shall see...

And no - have not seen the newsletter yet...

Yep... that was last week. [sigh] Such a tease. Of course I thought that meant they'd be sent right out!

Congrats on the new babies, Jen! Bummer that you didn't have better luck with your purchased eggs.

I did photograph my new girlies & will post them soon!

Well, one of the things that always took longer that I expected during my short jaunt with the SPPA bulletin, was that the darned folding-sticker-stamp assembly line took forever. I think that Jim gets buried in these activities while also doing school and parenting. I just sort of sit back and know it's coming.

An t-ochran an tochras--hunger is a good sauce.

Ahhh -- as a person fully entrenched in this digital age of ours, I figured it's pretty easy to hit "send" and out they go!

That works for the emailed newsletters. The folding, sticker, stamp assembly line for actual mail is a lengthy process.

Hunger is a good sauce -- that is one way of looking at it. But I'm really, really hungry!!!
