B.Y.C. Dorking Club!

Could someone PM me Craig Russell's phone number? I've got a number, but its old. I haven't gotten my breeders directory yet, so I can't look there. The internet yields contact info but who knows if that's correct.

TIA

Jennifer

the info on sppa should be correct...

It might be, but none of the websites for the SPPA are active. I'm not a facebook member, so I don't know if its there.

I've found it elsewhere, but I have conflicting numbers.

**never mind....I found a cached copy.

Does anyone know of any Dorking breeders in Ontario, Canada? I've had a red Dorking hen and two Silver grey Dorking hens. One silver grey still with me. Without a doubt the sweetest, most companionable and intelligent birds. Yes, broody, but that's what makes them such a natural bird. I'd like to get more if there's a reputable breeder in my area.

I just picked up a pair of Silver grey Dorkings today. They are 28 weeks old and I am really pleased with them. The hen is a little flighty at the moment but the cock is really lovely :) so happy I got them and can't wait to start breeding :)

That is wonderful. They are a terrific breed to have. Since you are from the UK, and your lines of Dorkings tend to be larger than those in the U.S., can you both post pictures and occasionally weigh them and post the weights. Those in the U.S. tend to be smaller, and breeders are trying to increase size, but it would be nice to be able to follow a UK pair as they grow.

They are my first dorkings so I have no idea really how they will turn out but I bought them from a lady who shows hers so these will be slight rejects I guess but from good stock.
I will try to get some weights and photos on Monday for you :)

Just remembered I took some with my phone....

I had to move them today because he and the welsummer cockerel were trying to fight through the wire!
