I just love that - now I'm really excited! My silkie hens - 4 of them are setting on eggs(quail and silkies) too. That is too cute!

Well the kids are almost 2 weeks old now and a few of them are as tall as their little midget mother. The tall ones are silkie/EE. And yes, the mom was the Silkie and the EE, to my knowledge, was a standard rooster. So anyone who didn't think LF crosses could hatch out of the bitty banty eggs....wrong! They are way bigger than the others and have CHEEKS....and green legs with 5 toes. Cute!

I'm going out of town this weekend, but am hoping to start opening up the broody pen during the day starting next week so they can go out in the yard.
