I probably won't be able to keep Thor if he's a boy. His daddy was the meanest rooster ever to walk the earth and I read that gene is hereditary. If he turns out to be nice, or a girl, then it will depend. Girl=yes. Nice rooster=depends on how attached to him I am when slaughtering time comes.

My RIR is already a very good roo. He's not a pet or anything, but he's not aggressive at all. I won't keep even a semi-aggressive rooster, because we have babies that like to visit the chicken coop when they come over. I can't risk them getting attacked if they pick up a hen or something.

Last I candled, I didn't see any movement. I'm about to go candle it again. If I don't see anything this time, I'm probably shutting down the incubator.
