Well, I WOULD have had a 100 percent hatch out of yours if not for those last two.
But things can always happen. Like I said, I am just ecstatic for the ones that I have!

My older daughter (age 23) was sitting by the brooder and cuddling the chicks. Its cute because if anyone sits down by the brooder, the chicks all run over there. Beth (my daughter) said its like she said "Story time!!!" She picked out one chick for "her own" and says she hopes its a hen. Its one of the little brown striped ones. She named some today but I said she had to let her sister do some naming as well, lol.
I cant believe how calm they are, I wonder if that will change or if they will stay friendly because the brooder is here in the house and our chicken coop will be fairly close where we always are? I know some people dont recommend that but I want it close, especially in the winter. And one nice days too when I can sit out on the back steps and watch "chicken" TV.

My next hatch of chickens is Vowerks on the 27th, then mixed bantam, cochin bantam, mixed silkies and Aracauna(?) on the 29th.
After that the last one is three Buff Orpingtons, hatch date June 2nd but I am not holding tons of hope for those because of the post office fiasco.
Supposed to be getting some hamburg eggs as well, but of course they will have a later hatch date.

I have three completely out, two that pipped and died, and two more pips. The beige one only has the brown on its head, the other two are black and silver.
