Babies in shipping

I’m so nervous with this. They’re coming from Metzer Farms. California to Pennsylvania. 2 fawn and white runners and 2 Toulouse geese. USPS is making me nervous . I get text updates and they left San Jose at 11:30 last night and just now in Oakland which is only an hour from San Jose. I thought they’d be flying to east coast already. So excited for them to get here. I’ve never had any shipped before and I’m stressing

My shipment of ducklings from holderreads arrived a day late. Everyone was healthy. I think metzers gives them gro gel in the shipping box.

How long were they in shipping? They have my delivery date as Friday which makes 5 days. I’m hoping they move it up.

Also the usps tracker said 5 days but is not accurate for poultry shipments.

I know their tracking is awful for most everything. Well that puts my mind at ease some . Hopefully tomorrow or Thursday at the latest .

I got my three from the same place they were all healthy and quacking when we picked them up!

I'm right there with you. My 3 ducklings also shipped on Monday from Metzer and I'm a nervous wreck! The tracking simply says "in transit." Thanks, real helpful. Anyway, I'm hoping for tomorrow, but it might be Thursday. Either way, I'm not sleeping tonight. Not that I'd be sleeping much anyway. (I have a 1 year old daughter.) Good luck with your babies!

So ours share a birthday then! I know what you mean , you would think with it being 2020 the USPS could do better on tracking for crying out loud! Best of luck with your babies too! Hopefully all come soon

When my ducklings arrived last April the post office called me that afternoon I wasn't expecting them until the next day. Did you call your post office an ask them to call you as soon as they arrive so you can pick them up?
