Babies in shipping

What hatchery/farm did you order from? I live in CT!
Duck Buddies in Jewett.
I ordered eggs from them back in March and those were the same deal - made it to the regional hub, then fell off USPS tracking system. Though at least that time the status was updated to "Arriving Late".
The seller had originally said it might take two days for them to get here, so they should be packed for a two day journey, but USPS not acknowledging that they're delayed is troubling!

Have a box ground up duckling feed, water and sugar water and a syringe for the sugar water so if you got a weak duckling you got everything you need. You do not want to be in the same situation I was in. Good luck!! :) I hope they arrive well!

I just got a call from the post office (4:15 am) saying that my chicks have arrived. Gonna go pick them up soon. Now here’s to hoping they all survived the trip. They haven’t been out of a brooder for too long. They shipped at about 3 P.M yesterday. So a little over 13 hours total. I’ve never ordered chicks online before, but I have high hopes that they’re all OK! Well done, USPS!

My tracking still just says in transit. I just called my post office to make sure they know they're coming. She said they're probably still in California since the last time it was scanned was in San Jose. She thinks I shouldn't expect them until probably Saturday. :hitI feel sick to my stomach thinking about the poor babies.
