Babies played outside for 3 hours!

Mine tend to stay all together in a flock... I just herd them to a place where there is a wall behind them and make sure I have my bin to put them in. The last one is always a struggle to grab but if you set it up right its no problem catching them.

Or having something yummy to bribe them with works pretty good, too.

Someone had mentioned in a previous thread to make a loud noise to get them all to stop for a moment... but I think I just made myself "the crazy neighbor lady squawking at her chickens" since it didn't really phase them

Oh geesh! Mine do! I was in the basement with them today (thankfully no one sees my crazy interaction with my chickies

) and I made this noise like "Whoop, whoop" and they all stopped, then freaked out and ran for the back of the brooder!

I let my chicks out into an area around their coop with a fence. They absolutely loved it, and just like the adult hens, they made their way back into the coop when ever scared, or as it got dark or rainy. Pretty smart! They range from 7weeks to almost 10 weeks old. They are funny to watch playing and running and flying around in their newly discovered world!

I am also a crazy neighbor who talks to her chickens, in english and chickenese!
