Baby button quail on back

Every time he tries to walk he gets stuck on his back and can’t get up, and just kicks.He’s less than 12 hours old.Is this spraddle leg or something else?The first two had some initial balance issues but not for this long.

Do you have any videos of it at all? It's possible it could be a leg development issue, but more likely it's neurological.

I can't tell if it's splay leg from the picture. If it can't walk, it may be kindest to cull.

Idk how to post a video,but I have him in a tiny flower pot.He can move a little but has to stand up.I’m hoping this will strengthen his leg and help him stand upright.

I've used a shot glass in the past for splay leg, but had to put a small piece of shelf liner in it so the feet had something to grasp. The glass itself is too slick. A tiny flower pot sounds perfect.
