baby button quail stop pecking at egg

i have this hatching button quail who just stopped pecking at the egg it made one hole and then it just stopped can someone help me?

They are probably resting. I searched on BYC and found that it can take awhile. Just really watch the humidity.

I'm finding from 12 to 16 hours from pip to hatch. Hope you have babies tomorrow!

Chicks have been hatching without human intervention for millions of years.
Leaving the little guy to do its thing in its own time is the most likely path to success.

it hatched but it has curled feet how would i fix this?

Glad it hatched! You will need to tape the toes in a natural position. This needs to be done right away. I'll try to find a video for you.
